FLOWER CARE GUIDE

If you received a bouquet, make sure to follow the tips + steps below so that your flowers last as long as possible:

1. Completely remove the bouquet from the paper packaging.

2. Using a pair of sharp scissors or sheers, cut about an inch off the bottom stems of the the flowers. If your vase is shorter, adjust accordingly.

3. Fill a clean vase with room temperature water about 3/4 of the way and place flowers in vase.

*If you would like to add a homemade flower food mix, combine 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of bleach to your vase before adding about a quart of lukewarm water. Flowers drink a lot of water so make sure to also keep the water level high.

4. It is really important you also make sure that there are no leaves under the water line (remove the leaves if so). Leaves in the water will cause bacteria to grow much faster. Flowers are very sensitive to any bacteria in the water.

5. Completely refresh your vase water every 2-3 days.

6. Keep flowers away from drafts, sources of heat, or ripening fruit.

5. Flowers can last anywhere between 3-8 days. Pull any wilting blooms to keep the water free of decomposition
